H.264 encoding with Windows Media foundation

Windows has added H.264 encoding since Windows 7. It auto makes use of hardware acceleration when it’s available.

using the same hardware as previous tests, it supports Intel Quick Sync Video(QSV).

Profile: Main

keyInt: 4

bitrate: 2500

total time blocked by encode API is 33s;

CPU usage is 3~4% when using Intel QSV;

test project binary size, the generated movie size;

The advantages:

1. small binary footprint, only 57KB

2. supports multi encoders, software-only, or available hardware.

The disadvantages:

1. less control over quality

2. limited by OS version

3.  less efficient comparing to use Intel Media SDK directly
